Lakeshore, in association with paging carriers and telemessaging services,
offers the highest quality service available in the U.S. today. The dedicated staff
answering the calls and sending them to your alphanumeric pager have extensive
training. 45 operators are employed around the clock. Most of the staff reside within 15
minute commute of the office. There are 3 persons assigned to emergency back-up coverage
every evening. 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, the operating equipment is completely software
driven using State-Of-The-Art computers and is fully redundant. Two fully divergent T-1
circuits further enhance reliability.
Each message sent to you is stored for 30
days for immediate retrieval. After that time, the information is downloaded onto
diskettes for possible future reference. Each message transmitted will bear a consecutive
number. In this way, you can be assured that you've received each page broadcast. For
example, a Subscriber received messages 12, 13 and 15... Message 14 is missing from your
pager. You'd simply call the 800 number, identify yourself, and the operator will
immediately re-broadcast the missing message. This is especially valuable if you're
between coverage areas, or have turned the pager off and missed several messages.
