Information (below)
Turn your pager into an answering machine. Add Voicemail to your pager and never
miss a call. A caller dials your pager number, hears your voice telling them to
leave a message OR to put in their numeric page. The caller then leaves a message,
and your pager alerts you that a message is waiting. Next, you call your own pager
number and retrieve the messages. You will receive an instructional card explaining
how to use your new voicemail option.
The Single Line Miracle for Internet Users
One way to save money is to buy a pager with voicemail and use it as your second
line. Before you begin to use your phone modem to log onto the Internet, or just
when you're not going to be home, you call forward (an option available through your local
phone company) your home phone to your pager. Then, when a call comes in, while
you're online or simply away from home, you'll always know that a call has come in, since
your pager will alert you.
E-Mail on your pager: On alphanumeric pagers only, included in all text
messaging services, is the ability for your pager to receive a message via E-mail.
